Freaky Furniture and more... is a webshop for buy and sell of vintage furniture, lighting and accessories from the 20th century, especially 1930-1980.

The webshop was started in 2001 as a result of my interest for design from the past. The typical '50s designs started a passion that will probably last forever.
In the last period of years, my interest has grown into the entire 20th century.
Books and the internet gave me more information about styles, designers and producers and made my interest grow even more.

I got to know designs from every period of time and saw their specific charme.
From Art Deco to Seventies, so many beautiful things!
Maybe you have to be a sort of "freak" to see the beauty in some designs, and some items will turn beautiful just because of their "uglyness". Other items on the contrary, will immediately impress by their wonderful shapes and colors.

After years of collecting for myself I started selling items some time ago. It simply is not possible to keep everything to yourself, but letting it all slip is not funny at all!
So here it is, the website makes it possible for me to look for nice items and makes it possible for collectors, design lovers,
and real freaks worldwide to find just that item that makes the collection or the interior more complete!

At this webshop I offer only authentic items, there are no new items.
You can find design from the "famous" designers, but also items of which the designer is unknown (to me).
What you see is a mix of various styles, periods and designers.
For me personally, is not the name the main issue, but form, function, originality and quality.

If you are looking for a specific item please let me know because my stock is bigger then this site shows.
